One of the greatest experiences for me in Thailand is discovering new meals made by cooks who put their heart into everything they make.
The meal was amazing. The SomTam was special as well as it used young coconut instead of green papaya… The taste was refreshing and amazing…so good!
I was at an outdoor restaurant with picnic tables suspended over a wooden frame and canopy situated atop an inclined rock strewn hillside.
Kind of a cool shaded area near the town of Krabi. The excursion was a day trip on my last day in the area, so it was a wonderful surprise to have one of my best meals of the week in this hidden jem… Just goes to show that you never know when and where circumstances conspire with opportunity to reveal life’s wonderful surprises.
